| Our team |
Dr. T. Frank Marchell, DVM
I
live in Hampton Falls, NH with my wife Cindy (also a veterinarian) and
two children, Joey and Abby. We currently have five cats and two dogs.
There would be many more pets if Abby had her way.
I
grew up in Ithaca, NY and attended Cornell University for both my
undergraduate and graduate degrees. I graduated from Cornell's
veterinary college in 1987 and have worked in this area since then.
Prior
to starting vet school I worked on sheep ranches in Wyoming and dairy
farms in Colorado. I also worked in a medical entomology lab raising
mosquitoes and black flies and spent 6 months on the island of St.
Croix studying a bioluminescent crustacean.

Waynette Eaton
Veterinary Technician
Hi,
my name is Waynette. I have been working with animals for 38 years,
starting at 12 raising orphaned wild animals and birds. I started
working at a Portsmouth Veterinary hospital in 1973. From then, until
now I've always been involved with and working with animals; breeding
and showing Irish Setters and Chow Chows, rescuing and rehabilitating
wild animals and birds (my favorite), training and grooming.
I
started at Piscataqua Animal Hospital in the summer of 1998. My job
consists of whatever needs to be done, from cleaning kennels, preparing
and monitoring surgery patients to stocking the store, waiting on
clients, sweeping the parking lot or painting the walls!
I
currently live in Nortwood with my my chow 'Angeleena" and chocolate
lab "Gunnar',, 3 Maine Coon cats, 'Kizzy', 'Jack', and 'Skye', Siamese,
'Kato', Mollucan Cockatoo, 'Lexi', 13 yr. old robin, 'Baby', 2
squirrels and 7 pigeons!

Jacky Brown
Bookkeeper
Jacky
Brown is Piscataqua Animal Hospital and Sagamore Animal Hospital's
bookkeeper and resident desk potato. Jacky began working as a
Veterinary Technician in 1974 for Dr. Ed Eames and has been a member of
the "vet set" ever since. After over 20 years of swallowing her share
of cat hairs and having her pockets piddled in, she retired as a tech
in 1998, and began handling the money matters rather than the needles
and hemostats. Employment for Dr. Mike Schafer at Sagamore Animal began
in 1993 and for Piscataqua Animal Hospital for Drs' Mike Schafer and
Frank Marchell in 1996. Now enjoying the best of both worlds by still
being in the "biz", Jacky works every day with a cat or dog in her lap,
and loves every minute of it.
